Allergy Season is pleased to share NYC-based producer Beta Librae’s first release with the label, Whisper Game - a surefire cure to late spring showers and a sticky prelude to a blistering summer.

Beta Librae introduced Kansas City to her airy, organic techno over a series of cassette-only releases, before moving to NYC and starting the jubilant and necessary Techno Feminism night at Bossa Nova Civic Club, along with fellow producer Umfang of Discwoman. Across four sweltering cuts, Whisper Game blends bongo-driven techno and sinuous deep house into a hypnotically-rendered dreamscape. Stitched together from live takes, the four tracks’ turbulent echoes and plasmic pulses seem to burrow straight into the ground (or club floor).
